There aren't really a lot of places to go. The library kinda gets me freaked out after a while because there's just such a high level of stress everywhere that I get stressed out being around everyone freaking out.
Yeah, I'm done one week from today! Woo! haha, the organic final is going to suck majorly, but at least I have from monday-thursday to study for it. I feel like I just need to not be a dumbass on my calc final and I'll do realy well, and my contemporary music final is just a paper so I just need to actually write it and I'll get an A haha. The only trouble is organic... haha

Have you looked into studying abroad at all? My friend did this study abroad program in Zanzabar (no idea how to spell it) and she did all this really neat stuff with dolphins that you'd probably like. I don't remember if I told you that or not, but I was looking at her pictures again the other day and I thought of your marine biologyish stuff. She had these pictures of squids and stuff inside the stomach of a dolphin! It was wicked intense.

That sucks that there isn't anywhere to really go. At MCP the whole school turns into this high stress fight for your seat kinda thing cause its so small. So I kept getting up early and claiming my spot near an outlet so I could keep my computer charged. Hah. I feel like I do better and learn more and prepare better if I'm thrown into the chaos. But, I do understand not wanting to be apart of the chaos. Especially with organic.
DUDE. Okay, lets talk organic for a second.
I was drawing structures to learn all these flavors, amino acids, drugs, and vitamins. Skunk smell components, etc. for like 3 days straight. My arm still hurts. Plus figuring out reactions and stuff.
We had our 3rd organic exam on the 15th of april. Our final was on the 27th!! And classes ran until the 24th. So I had like... TWO DAYS of no classes to try and sum up on orgo. I tried starting while studying for exam 3 but like seriously, what is the last thing you want to do after taking and organic exam? blah
But, on the bright side....I was well prepared and I felt like I actually knew what I was doing. It was a strange feeling. Cause that is not what usually happens. EVER.
The studying abroad sounds wicked cool! I'll keep it in mind. :)
I know its been wicked long time. WE MUST HANG OUT!

Oh man. I hate them. Hate hate hate hate hate hate hate. I cannot draw them without having them look like there's this huge fatass that sat in the chair and left it squished and broken and looking very little like a chair.
ughhh freaking carbohydrates.
Our exam is going to be mostly reactions though. Like here's a benzene ring and make it into this crazy ass molecule using like a minimum 10 different reactions. ughhhhhh. I hate organic so much.
Except class today was really neat, because of course it's stuff that's not on the final. Of course. The only thing I find exciting about the class is entirely optional. We were learning about nanotechnology though and all the cool things people have made like nanokids!! http://www.jmtour.com/?page_id=34 hehehe I thought those were neat. And they made this nanocar with buckyball wheels and all sorts of neat things :]

Our tests are a bit different. We had a lot of reactions on ours, but instead of having to go from one molecule to another with a set of reactions, he writes out molecules and puts the reactants and we have to draw the product. Or sometimes he leaves out the reactants or the starting material. And it was like 1.5 of the 5 pages or so. about 30 reactions.
Then we had to do some titration curves, structure writing, there's a huge paragraph thats a whole page and we get to fill in the blanks. We had to do a pentapeptide bond with the amino acids drawn together based off him giving us a 5 letter sequence. Like MEWPT... aka methionine, glutamic acid, tryptophan, proline, and threonine.
There was a bunch of resonance stuff...zwitterion form crap...some naming...drawing based off names...pKa recognition
gross stuff.
I feel like your reaction stuff is harder.

Yeah, I mean you could go to the library, but everything's so fierce I don't really focus as well as I do when I actually get the room to myself when she's at class or rehersal or whatever.
Oh organic.... We're probably going to take over the science center and move into a room with a chalkboard like we did last semester and draw structures and reactions and mechanisms and all sorts of shit from monday straight through thursday night (The final is thursday at 630pm). I am basically planning on doing every book problem in the world between now and then haha
