So here I sit upon my kitchen counter while the rest of the house sleeps. I'm typeing on my computer and raiding the fridge. First to go was a couple of slices of leftover pizza that my dad brought home from work, after that was the peach that I am currently eating, I'm not sure what is next, however I do spy a tasty few helpings of baked pasta, some grapes, some strawberries, and potatoe chips that instead of being made out of potatoes are made out of every vegitable that grows in the ground. The sweet potatoe ones are really good. So on a few surveys there is that question: What is your favorite meal, usually I put dinner and my reasoning behind it is that that is the biggest meal of the day. However I would now and for always like to modify that. My favorite meal is the mid-night snack. Everything tastes better during the mid-night snack, it keeps you awake to do the things that you want to do. You only have to eat what you want, there is no one else to share with. Also in the movies very deep discussions usually between a father and daughter occur during the mid-night snack. The most intense and nail-biting sequences of Scooby-Doo cartoons occur before, after, or during a mid-night snack. It is for these reasons that I like it the most. Now I just know that there are those of you out there that would not consider the mid-night snack to be a proper meal. Here is what I have to say to you. What are the qualifications for a meal exactly? Is it the quantity of food eaten? In that case many people eat only a granola bar or a cup of coffee for breakfast and here I am eating pizza. It therefore cannot be the quantity of food that distinguishes a meal. Perhaps it is the quality of the food consumed. But wait are TV dinners a meal? Surely I am eating higher quality food now? No offence to TV dinners, personally I think they rock. I think probably the biggest argument is that the whole concept of a mid-night snack has snack in the very name. However if having snack in the name makes something not a meal then not having meal in the name must also make it something else. Therefore breakfast, lunch, brunch, tea, dinner, supper, and chow time are all ruled out! Based on these I feel that the mid-night snack has everything required to be a meal.
On an unrelated subject, even though I know I have no music playing I like to press the Detect Music Now button. I don't know why.
