- Jo always tensed up when she drove into her apartment complex's parking lot because there was a constant chance of seeing that familiar black car sitting there.
- Before she could slide her key into the lock, the smell of steak and the sound of Bad Company filtered through the door.
- Sam was absolutely terrified as he walked toward the door emblazoned with the same numbers Dean had given him on a scrap of paper.
- He didn't show up for sex but he welcomed it gladly as the tears began to well up.
- Dean was honestly surprised when he realized that he missed her. Really bad.
- His heart hit his steel-toed boots as he opened the door on a ransacked apartment.
- For the first time in months, Sam mentally thanked Dean for continuously dragging him to Billings.
- Dean woke suddenly and felt around the bed frantically but she was still there, breathing slowly and deeply and snuggling closer to him.
- Sam felt genuinely sad when they drove past the city limits sign because this was the first place that had felt like home to him.
