taiwan day 5 - part 2 !
so after leaving jiu fen, we took a smaller train at ruifang station to shi fen!
i still rmb we didnt have a ticket when we board cos the train was alr at the station
and we didnt have time to buy!
but the very understandable staff asked us to board the train first,later then buy the tix. :)
initially, ponyo and i wanted to go pingxi/ qingtong station,
but it was really too far down the line so we alighted at shi fen instead(which is a popular tourist attraction too)!
at SHI FEN!
wanted to do this wish thingy but there were simply too many people crowding at the train station :(
so we decided to move on.. haiz.
after walking quite a distance from the station, we went down to take photos on the railway!
hahaha at first we were afraid of getting fined, but everyone just went down!
so we just followed! lol!
shifen aso can 放天灯!
it was a damnnn fun experience, despite it being in the day! haha. :D
love the process of writing on the 天灯 too! :)
the shop uncle helped us take photo!! super nice of him! :D
the 天灯 flew away damnn fast. so i could only take such a small pathetic photo of it in the air. hahaha!
btw when the uncle light up the lantern, it's really quite hot! quite scary to be holding it. haha.
we only stayed a while at shi fen cos of the stupid train timing.
if we miss one train we'll need to wait quite long for the next one.
and we need to take 2 trains to return to taipei so it's better to know the train timings well. :)
so anw, after playing with the 天灯, we walked back to the station, taking some photos at the bridge!

we were famished by then! bought 铁路便当 at rui fang station and ate it on the train back!
