One crappy thing about my job location here is that they restrict instant messaging at the local firewall. Fortunately I can VPN into our company's network and use IM that way but can I do when I need to access a local resource on the network?
Well I would just have to sign out of IM until now.
Meebo is a totally cool Ajax application that accesses all of your major IM networks (and some not so major) via a web browser so if your company places such a restriction, this is one way you may be able to get around it.
