The Politics of Saying Nothing.

I'm such a lazy slut where this thing is concerned. I barely ever write, but I do read most days. I guess I just haven't had all that much to say as of late. Things are relatively boring around here. Still in a holding pattern, as it were. Nothing huge on the moving front save a few little nuggets of info from TPTB.

Also, I learned that I like sushi. I mean, I like California rolls annd that's pretty much it. But seeing as how I don't like fish, it's a big deal. Isn't that fascinating?

So, yeah. It's like a war zone here. On the Upper East Side. We've got buildings exploding, and planes smashing into buildings.. it's pretty odd. It makes me laugh that they keep saying (and I've seen this on three different news broadcasts) that the UES is "tony." Haven't heard anyone use that expression in a very long time. "The tony upper east side has been the site of a terrible plane crash." "The tony neighborhood on the upper east side has had another townhouse blow up this morning.." It's like I'm living in South Central and not Yuppieville.

And if you don't know much about Manhattan, then you have no idea what that last paragraph really meant and I do apologize for that.

Hmm. What else?

I'm very happy that black nailpolish is now okay'd by the Fashion Police, so I can wear it without fear of censure.

Umm.

I'm on another diet. I've started just eating things in halves. Seems to be working. Half a sandwich. Half a salad. Half a portion of chicken and brocolli. Half a bowl of pasta. You get the drift. I'm actually down to half a pack a day, too. I'm a 50% person.

I bought really cute boots yesterday. They were on sale. Originally $138.00, and I got them for $39.00. That's insane, right? That's like 70% off or some shit.

Sold my car. Don't remember if I mentioned that or not. Made me very sad. And the worst part is that when I go to Jersey where my father works, I tend to see it driving around cause the guy lives there. Sigh.

Blah.

I don't think I have anything else to say.
