I agreed to photograph yesterdays' party at uni only (well, mainly, as it's paid) because I needed to speak to Yulia about helping me out with the article on a singer I know and, as soon as we divided work (this wasn't too complicated between a journalist and photographer) we went to the main hall and found the singer playing on the stage! Taking on account how hard it tend to be to get all the bits together at once, this was a major luck! But, as everything has it's price, I missed the last bus and had to stay at Yulias', which was quite rude, considering that yesterday we met for the first time.
The editor was happy with the singer I found and promised us entire spread (possibly two!) in the next issue, which is more than I could dream of!!!
Ricardo was very pleased with the photos I took on Saturday and even rewarded me with a free lunch, so I'm one step closer to getting the job (fingers crossed)
As soon as I got my tickets to London for Wednesday (have to start getting all the papers-documets-visas for the winter trip) I received the letter from university, inviting me for an induction talk. By the way, I do support cloning.
My camera is supposed to arrive by tomorrow, so I'm kind of excited:)
Oh, and the field trip for my course will be to Barselona and, although there is still nearly half of a year to go, the first 150£ have to be paid within a month. Is money even enough?
