I have returned from the beautiful San Francisco (and the even more beautiful govannen of course!). I had such a fabulous time, and we did so much I can't even begin to cover it.
Highlights include Muir Woods to see the Redwood trees, walking back across the Golden Gate Bridge, riding a cable car clinging on for dear life to the outside(!), shopping in Macy's, New Year's Eve on the Embarcadero, Cheesecake at Macy's, Pancakes for Breakfast, Dipping my toes ever so briefly in the Pacific Ocean (bloody cold!), Tea at the Japanese Tea Garden, Clam Chowder, A Real Diner, the view of the sunset over the Bay from Berkeley, Alcatraz, The EXPLORATORIUM, Palace of Fine Arts, Fishies, Sealions, Icecream, Weird American Chocolate, Milkshakes...
