Ok, going through my mother's wardrobe(s) with her? Is the best thing ever. I just inherited two vintage ballgowns (whatthebananas? We have to go to a Ball this year!), a teal silk day dress, silk top and a gorgeous black pencil skirt. I knew there was a reason my mother has barely ever thrown *any* of her clothes away in about the last 30 years... to give them

Most of the clothes got shipped off to the drycleaners, but I will take pics as soon as they're back, promise!

Also your postcard arrived today! Thankyou so much, Berkeley looks so awesome and californian and wow in it! I will take that offer of the first mate position and we shall sail the seas! BTW speaking of the seas, now we've looked up dates and stuff it seems almost certain we're coming to visit in Spring Break, so I hope your prepared for this, as it's your last chance to say 'for the love of god leave me alone and don't come!' :) xxxxx

Excellent, I'm glad it arrived safely! :D And yayness for almost certainly visiting!! That would be so awesome! It really would be great if you guys can visit, do you have an idea of how long for? I wouldn't mind travelling/roadtriping or something similar during spring break, so I don't know if you're able to stay another week after that in the area to see Berkeley and San Francisco and stuff? I'd have classes during that time, but I'm sure you could entertain yourselves doing touristy things! :D xxxx

I am totally up for a road trip! Or at train/plane trip as I'm assuming none of us will be driving... I think it being the Easter hols, and right before the dreaded Third Year Exams (argh!) about 10 days should be an okay amount of time to see some of San Fran, and fit in some travelling as well, and then get back to England for evil!revision, what do you reckon? Will obv have to talk to the others and see what thry say too (although really? They do what I say!). xxx
