eeee I'm so full! I think I ate my body weight in food this weekend, what with my grandparents staying and providing many meals out and copious gin&tonics, and Jingjing coming back (her cocacola chicken is *amazing*!). I think I may explode, and it's tuesday!
My grandparents brought me cake and prettily bound books from the Folio Society, and about a month's worth of Private Eye issues. Jingjing took me Chinese Supermarket shopping (well, I took her, but she told me where to go) which mainly involved me standing in the corner with a basket trying to work out what all the stuff was while she told me what to get!
Work is work. It has amusing acronyms. For example we are currently working towards minimising Customer Reported User Defects (C.R.U.D.), and expanding our customers among the areas of Municipalities, Universities, Schools and Hospitals (M.U.S.H). What? It's tough finding things to keep the spirits up!
I'm so looking forward to this weekend as I'm taking friday off and going to visit govannen. Cannot wait to see her and whatthebananas and Sally again, and I get to go to the seaside! The only sadness is it'll be the last time I see govannen in a very long time as she leaves this sceptred isle to set sail for the New World soon after. Cos she's a pirate, obviously. Arrr.
