First day of nursing orientation? Okay. EXCEPT FOR THE PART WHERE I FAILED THE MATH TEST.
Numbers and I have a bad, bad, very bad relationship. When confronted with pages of math problems, I just freeze up and forget everything I ever knew, if indeed I knew it in the first place. So. ABYSMAL FAIL. Seriously. Not off by one or two problems, but bad fail. I was very upset, and the people giving it were so nice, and I can take it again on Friday. Must pass. I can't give out medications until I pass the test, and that sort of defeats the purpose of being a nurse, given that's what you spend a significant amount of time doing.
Wow. Stress headache. But I get to try again. I've done these problems before without much difficulty, but not for a dog's age. Pressure, oh my.
