It was a glorious day!!! While on the ferry ride to visit the grandparents, we saw a pod of gray whales traveling through the passage. I've made that trip for seventeen years and had never seen any whales until today. They are incredible even from a distance. My nana has been fighting lung cancer for a year and a half and only recently came off a drug with horrible side effects, but apparently today she had more energy than in months. There are many things to be thankful for!
I hope everyone has a blessed Easter--it is a day of great love! However, considering how pissed off the pastor made me with a really offensive comment during Good Friday service--please do not ever comment on or try to place blame on the organist's preparation as they are trying to keep a congregation who cannot sing a rhythm correctly together, when this is clearly the fault of whoever picked a really confusing (at least, for non-aural-skills-savvy singer) psalm--it's going to take a lot of will to let go of my anger and forgive him. And I have to, as seething through an entire service is not spiritually or physically healthy.
Easter is a time of/for miracles, least of which includes a unpredictable window switch in the car starting to work again so that we don't have to drive around with the door wrapped in tarp. And now I am completely exhausted and should stop typing now and go to bed. Love to you all!!!
