Confession: I actually really like the Awards season, although I rarely see any of the movies and mostly care about the dresses.
However, given the spectacular experience that was Deathly Hallows Part 2, and the tear-inducing, breathtaking performance of Alan Rickman, why is HP being ignored? AR deserves a nomination, at least...perhaps Ralph Fiennes as well.
At least I know I won't be watching the Golden Globes this year...and I find myself not the least bit upset either.
