3 more days...
Only 3 more days 'til I leave for NY... I'm pretty excited, for a couple of reasons at least... one, you probably won't believe this and will have to read this twice, but I've never flown on a plane before. That's right, Friday's flight to Islip will be my first flight ever, period. I'm really not anxious about the flight itself though, but more about the opportunity I'm getting to visit with some really good friends of mine, go to opening day at Shea Stadium, and see parts of NY that I haven't seen since I was a kid. :) This should be an awesome vacation and one that I know I won't soon forget... I'll be back on the 14th in the evening, so that's a nice little chunk of time away from Houston. Hopefully I should be able to regain most of my sanity. ;) This is really the only big news right now....
joe1092 and I played pool the other night at Classic's... and being the certified pool master he is, I naturally got my ass handed to me on a platter, but I had fun 'cause I made it painfully obvious that I wasn't there to win the next pool league tournament, but rather to drink and have something to do while I was drinking. It's nice to go out every now and then but since funds are slightly limited right now I've been holding back. That will change and return back to normal next month. Damn plane tickets can be expensive... well that's all for now, stay tuned for the next update boys and girls...
