Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
My Roland MT-32 arrived via UPS today! All that I need left for my ultimate vintage gaming machine is the SCC-1 that should be here any day now, and my Gravis Gamepad. I feel like a kid in a candy store (damn I'm such a nerd :-p)
Today kicked some serious ass....My friend Tamara and I did breakfast at IHOP and then saw Constantine at the AMC theater.... that movie was sweeeet, the classic battle of good vs. evil..... then we drove around town for a little while before going to....yes.... a little palm reading place off Westheimer. It was pretty entertaining since we had NOTHING else to do :-D and afterwards we decided to head back to my place. After some intellectual conversation about life, we ordered some Chinese and watched The Grudge, another scary-ass flick along the lines of The Ring, but even SCARIER! We were freakin' by the end of the film but I LOVE movies like that. I am loving my new work schedule as this was only my FIRST of my 2 consecutive days off....
