There's a training program here that might be helpful. It's intended to go from no activity to 3+ miles in two months, but you already work out a lot -- so you can start yourself further on in the program to get yourself up to 3.5 miles in a couple of weeks. =c)
Awesome!!! I currently do a brisk walking mile on the treadmill in 30 minutes 3x a week. So I suspect if I switch to a jog now, I will be in great shape for the race.
