.difficulties.at.best.
so i dont really know what to write...because its been a long time since i updated. almost a week. wow.
lets try this by day:
wednesday: went out to lunch with hila during work (at the noodle place...intensely good...) then went swimming with nicks group. one of the counselors couldnt find one of their kids, so eventually they told the camp director. turns out that the director (robin) purposely took the kid to find out how long it would take a counselor to respond. what a shitty fucking game. whatever. after work, i went to tutor a girl in hebrew, and then drove up to new brunswick, meeting my GER board there, and a bunch of kids who did UMC last summer. we had dinner, then to ice cream and met up with more people, then back to the FIJI house. i had my meeting with shira and val, which went relatively well. good stuff. then...drove home. somewhat un-eventful, but quite fun.
thursday: work all day, which proved to be TERRIBLE. the kids were sooo bad, and i realized i have like zero time till the show. i only have like 8 days left from now, including a weekend. after work, tutoring, and then straight to SAT class (with a small stop to see elise at work...). then i picked up nick, and we went to meet kristen at starbucks. that was stupid. the 4 of us felt like the kids that we always made fun of. so we quickly left, and nick and i hung out at the internet lounge, lol, go figure. after that...back to the house
friday: another day where the kids were annoying as hell. but, shabbat was fun, and i got to sing, because amy wasnt feeling well. hearing your voice on a mic is kinda weird. anyways, after work, i went home and chilled around. then, at 7-ish, david, tony, and craig came to my house, and we drove to the mall. that was kinda fun, but tony was, of course, being an asshole. but, i bought underwear. so no worries. we went from there to a porn shop, where tony bought some porn, and then to dunkin donuts. ehhh whatever lol. i saw nick there.
anyways, and so we come to speak of today. good times. ian rocks my world. i woke up super late today, compared to during the week. so wake-up at 11 cuz my mom thinks its important for me to know what time it is. wtf?? so i eat some pancakes, talk to elise for a while, and then head over to guitar center to meet up with seth and ian. i bought a cable and some guitar picks, cuz i needed them. then we went back to seth's, and ian and seth recorded some music. (seth has a recording studio in his garage. its hott) ian then recorded a short vocal part. ian had to go, but i stayed, and seth tried to record harmony. but i was singing, and he told me i should record.
so i did. it sounds awesome.
i recorded another line of vocals too, and its pretty "dope" as seth would say. from there, i went home, and then to this party thing...it was like a family party type deal, lots of families and kids...blah blah blah. not that great, but pretty good food. then, i went home and burned some music onto CD's. aaron came over, and we met up with ian and andrew at dunkin donuts. from there we went to scotchwood to eat, and then to this weird party at this kid raj's house. hes going to be famous one day...hes brilliant. 20 and running for mayor next year. incredible. whatever. the party was kinda weird, so we left (the 4 of us) and aaron brought me home.
and now im sitting here, online, like usual, just eating my frozen moolatte that elise made for me, and being a bum. lovely. i miss matt reber, and i really want him to come home soon. august 1st....cant wait. tomorrow im going to see my brother for visiting day, so im going to get some sleep for a long day. sorry for rambling so much. xoxo lilah tov **make love not war**
