[Gaara slides into the library, looking for something to read to during the night. The pills help, but he never came to expect more then three or four hours sleeps most times. That left a lot of time to procrastinate. Books were a great way to fill the time. As long as it didn't have too many words, Shukaku hated words... and keeping Shukaku amused and away from the concept of burning things was the general plan.

The library lady was sitting there innocently enough, and so he cleared his throat and crossed his arms and waited for her to notice him. Creepy? Pretty much.]

[It takes her a moment before she notices him. She puts down the book she was reading, and looks up with a smile]

Hello.. [she takes a moment to properly look at him] ...I do not recognize you. Are you a new student?

Uh, yeah, I... I'm Gaara. I transferred recently.

[Smooth, Gaara. Smoooooth.

Who asked you?]

Oh.. well welcome Gaara. [she smiles at him, and takes as moment to take something from her desk, writing on it before hold it out towards him]

This is your Library Card. Feel free to use it and borrow any books. [smiles again]

What's your favorite book?

[that's it?

How about you, Gaara-kun~?

I... don't really know. Shukaku likes ones with pictures. I think I liked Silence of the Lambs though...

[Shukaku is such a child, and he really shouldn't be referring to it like it was a living entity.

You know this might actually be more awkward then the time you tried to hug Temari and almost ended up choking her. ]

Shukaku....? [She has no idea who that is, but still smiles towards him]

I must admit that I never read the book... I have only seen the movies. It is a good story though, regardless.

He's like a... brother. Kind of. He like picture books. [Yeah that's going to have to do for now. :| Crap.]

It's a good... book. Uh, could you help me pick out a book. I just want to sit and read in the quiet, but, I really don't know what to read.

Hmm, that so...

[she wanders to particular shelf, and points to a couple books] Did you ever read Stephen King... these are all horror books.

[She picks out three more from the next shelf] The Day of the Jackal, From Russia with Love, Anatomy of a Murder... these are all listed in the top 20 Crime/Mystery novels of all time...

Stephen King? No I haven't. [runs his fingers over the books] Have you read them?

[picks out 'From Russia with Love'] Top 20? Well, I better start. Do you like murder mysteries?

I have read a couple of them... many have been turned into successful films also.

I do actually... with many of them you have to play close attention, and it is fun to try and guess the outcome of the story. [smiles and points to the book he picked up] You probably recognize that one, it is from the James Bond series.

They have? Maybe I should get them out too...

[he's probably following her too close, but she smells nice. Not in a blood smells nice kind of way... but sweet sort of. ] James Bond? Is he the guy that hunts for Relics from Ancient Civilizations?

You can take up to six books out at a time from here..

[She just thinks it is rather cute, the way he is following her]

Hmm? Oh, no! [she chuckles a little, but not in a mean way] That was Indiana Jones. James Bond was a British spy, he travels the world going after criminals and doing... spy stuff.
