...And frankly, the girl doesn't have an answer to it. She'll pass by the boxes and pink rosy letters. Go to one section, browse the selection there on a whim, with one eyes warily on that certain little corner in the library.
Footsteps will be heard, and in a sort of panic, she'll grab the closest book at random. A sigh of relief will escape her lips, as the footsteps echo away as quickly as they came.
She's safe for now. Or so she thinks.
Green eyes wander over to the corner once more, before they shift down to the book in her arms--a fairly large novel, The Count of Monte Cristo--and then back again. Glancing left. Glancing right. She takes a few steps forward, but then stops herself, with one hand on the edge of a shelf, and the other clutching the book tightly in her arms
