phillip island part 2

I fed a cassowary!! I later found out when I was in Queensland
that these are very dangerous animals and should never be fed
or approached.... oops? Oh well, this one was tamed i think...
3 little wallobys were really hungry and were being ignored
because they aren't as imressive as the kangaroos, so I went
over and gave them some food and attention :)

ok so i know i saw a million koalas at the other place, but
this guy was too cute to give up
i got a close up cuz he was only a foot in front of me :)
i admit, i used most of my food on the kangaroos. they were
just the best!
this is my fave picture from the whole day... look at the joey!
the mom let me feed her, and you cant see it here but I also
managed to feed the joey when she was distracted by my food hehe
tasmanian devil. they are really ugly...
mahiri found another with a joey, so we played with her too

another close up of them eating. this one was so gentle.. he
just stood there so nicely, eating the food and letting me take pics
parade of the penguins... although as you read in my entry about this
it wasnt much of a parade as a..... few penguins hanging out....
they wouldnt let us take pics, but i snuck a few noise/flash.lamp light
free ones. they are terrivle quality of course, but you get the point...
