You're so jaded, cause I'm the one that jaded you.

So I'm pretty sick of manipulation. People constantly pushing their own agendas. Always with their ulterior motives, doing whatever they can to get their own ways, at the expense of everything. Family, friendships, and relationships often get sacrificed when it comes to getting what you want. It's a cold hard truth of life that kinda sucks ( Read more... )

Sometimes when you are faced with a difficult situation its easier to have cynical thoughts. Trust me when I say that I have had my fair share of cynicism, but usually those conclusions I so quickly jumped to weren't always fair ( ... )

Its scary how true that all is. For the most part we are simply alone in a sea of individuals. It has been said that no one can ever know another person, but rather, they can only interpret their actions/emotions in terms of their own experiences and perspective. Scary really.

Think of any conversation you've ever had with a person - each person pushing different topics and twisting and manipulating the conversation to their own ends.

I like it though.
It makes for excitement.

Its a bit like a battle of wits.

everybody does this, there are just different levels so sometimes you dont notice people doing it. and perhaps they too dont notice it. it is engraved into us by society, it was the way we were raised. it is like breathing, you need to do it to survive and most of the time you dont think about it.
