I hate this place

I really really miss travelling on my own. Travelling with a good friend was amazing as hell, but it doesn't compare with the most freeing experience of my life, and that is travelling on my own. It made me know that I could do anything I wanted to. It gave me an incredible confidence that nothing else so far has given me. Even today, despite ( Read more... )

When it comes down to it, all you really have is yourself.

Although that may be true, just because you can make it on your own doesn't mean that you have to. Although its nice to be independent, you can't be afraid to be with someone. You can't live your life not caring about anyone, you're too good of a guy to do that.

Sometimes its tempting to just ran away, I have felt that before. Sometimes it's easy to keep a pessimistic point of view, and hide your feelings so no one can hurt them.

The best feeling you can have is looking into someones eyes, and feeling like they know you. Having intimate relationships that you can depend on are important to having a fulfilled life. You can't avoid relationships, and even if you could it wouldn't be fair to yourself.

I know that when a bad mood comes or you pass a hard spot in your life its easy to see all of the bad things, but you can't focus on the negative. Getting to know someone on a more intimate level isn't depressing, you're talking about getting hurt. Its easy to assume you will always be disappointed by those you love, but it's not right. If you keep up that idea then you might just walk by the person that will make you happier then you've ever been. Maybe it's a risk, but it's always a risk worth taking.

Don't be afraid to live your life to the fulliest Andrew, you deserve that. Remember- We cannot live for ourselves alone. Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return to us as results.

♥ We don't accomplish anything in this world alone ... and whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one's life and all the weavings of individual threads from one to another that creates something.

♥ We cannot hold a torch to light another's path without brightening our own.

You're pretty right Kayla. Avoiding close relationships, while prevent true pain, generally leaves a person feeling empty in life. I guess it's just easy miss the independence of a temporary lifestyle. It's nice to know that alot of your actions are inconsequential, unlike now where if someone does something stupid, even years ago, even if it's totally irrelovent, it is never forgotten and haunts them.
