All are moments in time and quite short, but drabbles usually are. Only Shut Up and Smile is technically new. And I'm too lazy to cut this properly.
Shut Up and Smile | Dean | PG
Tag to 7.11 Adventures In Babysitting.
Never Steal From A Moose | Dean & Sam | PG
This was ridiculous and brought on by boredom.
Struggle | Sam & Ruby | PG-13
Warning: potty mouth.
Written during season 4. That's how long I sat on it.
Just a little tag concerning Sam's decline via Ruby.

Shut Up and Smile
People counted on him. He wished they wouldn't. His resume is written in the blood of everyone he's failed but that doesn't stop them from putting their faith in him. Most of the time. Krissy was right not to accept his endorsement that he'd bring her dad back. He proved it further when she basically had to save all their asses. He froze. Even if it were only for a moment, he froze and all he could do was run every tragidy he's dealt with through his head at lightning speed. Then it was over; two evil bitches were dead and the good guys were all still alive. In that moment, he realized that crazy bastard was right.
He could smile.
They always say it takes more muscles to frown but Dean never had a hard time with that particular expression. It encompassed his life and his soul but he could still smile. Even if he didn't mean it... even if all he wanted to do was bitch and whine and cry, Frank was right and sometimes you just have to shut the hell up and smile.

Never Steal From A Moose
Dean took a large bite out of the untouched Hostess Ding Dong he'd swiped from his brothers hand and smiled, cream filling spreading out the corners of his mouth.
"Hey!"
"You had two." Dean replied, stuffing the rest of the cake in his mouth.
"I hope you choke on it."
"Aw, Sammy, tha's not nice."
"And stealing my Ding Dong was?"
"I'm gonna ignore how that really sounded. Besides, you didn't really want both of those."
Sam looked at him, doubtfully and exasperatingly.
"I didn't? And why's that?"
"You need to watch your girlish figure."
Sam then punched Dean in the arm, hard.
"We really need to work on your manners." Dean grumbled, rubbing the sore spot.
"My manners?!"
"And your anger issues."
"Dean!"
"On second thought, maybe you should lay off sugar entirely." Dean grinned, grabbing the second Ding Dong and stuffing it in his mouth. He barely managed to close his lips around it before Sam tackled him.

Struggle
The scream erupted, loud and agonizing, from the demon's mouth as more holy water was poured onto it's burning flesh; flesh it wouldn't be wearing for long. The demon knew it too. That didn't stop the damn thing from smarting off.
"That all you got, boy?! The great Sam Winchester. Fuck, and we thought you were something to be feared. I ain't tellin' you shit so you might as well send me back."
"Oh, believe me, we'll get there." Sam spoke, a dangerous smile gracing his features while he threw more water at the demon's face.
After forcing hard breaths through its nose, the demon turned to face Ruby, who hadn't said a single word thus far.
"I can't wait until you get your ass thrown back in the pit. I'm gonna be the first in line to tear your ass apart."
"Sorry, line's already started." She smirked. Her tightly folded arms across her chest were the only indication of how tense she really was. She threw a sideways glance at Sam and waited.
"Tell us. Where Lilith is."
"Man, you never give up. Even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you. You're gonna send me back no matter what. Lose lose situation if you ask me. By the way, how's that brother of yours? Last time I saw him, he was missing a few limbs."
There was a resounding crack as Sam's fist connected with the demon's face. Ruby took a halting step forward.
"Sam!"
"That's right, Sammy," the demon spoke, spitting blood from it's mouth, "don't beat on the poor, innocent meat sack I'm riding. Wouldn't want to damage him any further, now would you?"
"Enough!" And it truly was. Sam wasted no time exorcising the demon and soon the man was slumped in the chair, unmoving. Sam turned away after that and Ruby gave him a withering glance before checking on the man.
"He's alive."
"Good."
"Sam-"
"This isn't working. None of them are going to tell me anything."
"You're not trying hard enough."
"What else do you expect me to do!?"
"You know what you have to do."
At this point, he was pacing the room. He felt like a caged, circus animal; stuck in the same act over and over again. Sure, he was sending demons back to hell but he wasn't getting anywhere. They were no closer to finding Lilith than they were when they started. He was getting restless and losing hope. And to top it all off, he was exhausted. If he thought it was hard hiding his outings with Ruby from Dean before, they were almost impossible now. He hated it; hated that he had to lie to Dean about this again. His brother didn't understand and he couldn't make him. This was just something he had to do, for both of them. He only hoped one day Dean would forgive him.
He stopped and looked at Ruby and then to the man they'd saved. He did know what he had to do but he struggled with his feelings of wanting to do the right thing and not knowing if this was it. He remembered Ava and Jake and how they had completely changed. When he thought of them now, he thought of evil. He was scared that if he let go like Ruby wanted him to, he would lose control and become something else.
Something he couldn't turn back from.
