"do the puppet master..."

So much to say, so little time. Bruce starts working from home on Friday...finally. It's been a long time coming. It's gonna be nice to save all the gas money & we're also thinking about selling his car. We'll see.

Zoe's been a handful lately. Her little brain cells are just on overdrive & she's constantly seeking stimulation & something new to learn. Just over last weekend she learned some colors & to count from 1 to 6. It's crazy. I wish my brain could still do that. I love her to death, but she makes me tired. :) Also, her new favorite activity is dancing. The kid just LOVES to dance! I gotta get her shaking her little booty on video...it's disgustingly cute. There's this new show called Yo Gabba Gabba that she can't get enough of. It's the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. They always have a celebrity guest for the "dancy-dance" portion of the show & Elijah Wood did one (& I do believe he was made fun of on a few other shows like The Soup). If you haven't seen or heard of it, it's worth a look. So bizarre, yet strangely fun & endearing. I get it stuck in my head all the time...probably because Zoe watches it like 4 times a day.

I feel really crappy today cause we didn't get much sleep. For some reason, darling daughter kept waking up & didn't want to go back to sleep (which is unusual for her). My arms ache particularly bad today. Typing isn't exactly the best thing for that either. I'm going to a Fibromyalgia seminar tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. They just opened this Fibromyalgia & Fatigue Center (one of only 15 in the country) in the building where Bruce works in Greentree. They combine traditional & natural methods for treating people & I really wanna check it out. I'm fed up with regular dr's. They all suck if you ask me. They don't listen to you. All they wanna do is throw medicine at you, then send you an enormous bill. I have a stack of medical bills for various dr's visits, tests, etc. totalling over $1300 & I still don't have any concrete answers about anything. Honestly, I've learned more from searching the internet than I have from any of these "medical professionals." Idiots. I think I wanna go to an acupuncturist. I wish I had time to take a yoga class too. That might help.

We finally got to watch Knocked Up over the weekend & I have to say it's one of my new favorite movies. I want to watch it again (but time won't allow it I'm sure). I haven't sent it back yet cause I'd like to watch all the bonus features. I almost peed during the scene about the bubbles. There's just something about that scene that I can relate to. "I wish I liked anything as much as my kids like bubbles." I adore Paul Rudd. Also, the scene with him & Seth Rogen in the Vegas hotel room...oh god...so funny. I'm gonna have to watch it again.

I should go. The kid needs a bath & we have some things we have to go do later this afternoon. I think it's about to rain. Ugh. Must go to sleep early tonight.
