Maybe its the things they do without you that reveal how much you mean to them, when they know you aren't watching or perhaps when you've given up on them. But, unfortunately, life's not a movie where everyone sees our deepest, darkest moments played out like scenes with a great soundtrack and stunt doubles. We only have words to convey what we've done, felt, gone through and miss. But sometimes they fail and we don't have writers to fill in the blanks or make it moving. I'm speaking to me, you, her, him. We'd all like to hear out own monologues, the narrative, but no such movie excits of our own life except in our head. You can spend ours playing out a scene... death, love, life and loss but unfortunately nothing can bring that to life. No critics, no great reviews; just us and our innermost conciousness. But what makes us so empathetic to the movies we see in theaters? We are moved, we cry, laugh and wish we could share those moments with others on such a moving medium. Emotions are stuck, stuck because one can try and express their feelings but if you don't see it, you're not experiencing it and you lack the understanding. The silent calls for help, the breakdowns, the depression and restlessness; hidden beneath the facade we put up. Yes, we want to seem happy but what do you do when you are hurting so much that you can't? That you don't want to try? That you want that one person to see what you felt because you want them to understand. You can't record your own life the way you want. You have to count on words. But like I said, those always seem to fail us.
