Days off are awesome. I can catch up on fic, chat with baggers about Jeffrey Dean Morgan and bantha_fodder about Broots/Miss Parker porn OMG; scream about Supernatural and read the lol_meme until my eyes fall out. (The Pandalecki/Pandackles thing made me laugh way too hard.)

But now! It's Goren and Eames time, with thanks to the wonderful atlashrugged.

I read this when you first posted it over at the Goren & Eames LJ community, but didn't comment...just found it again via your posting of your fanmix, and wanted to say that it's wonderful. A lot more...oblique than most G/E fanfic I've seen, which is refreshing, and so many vivid images. Nicely done!

I got here via the Goren-Eames fanmix you posted. I've never read any fic for any of the L&O shows, even though I love them, but this blew me away. It's Bobby, and he's strange and lyrical and wonderfully stilted and sweet and awkward- it's just Bobby, and that can't have been easy to do.

Thank you so much for posting this link with your fanmix, it gave me a wonderfully moving fic that I wouldn;t have found any other way.

Also- it makes me even more excited to listen to the fanmix you put together!

I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO THE GYM FIFTEEN MINUTES AGO. But no. I went "Oh, look, there is fic in this person who I have just friended's journal! I should read it. It might be good!" And then I read it and I LOST FIFTEEN MINUTES. (Well. Fifteen minutes of avoiding the gym, so whoo! but still.)

*watches Mike freak out while Carolyn drives him home* I kind of love them to a freakish extreme. And as much as I like Wheeler (she's growing on me! Swear!) I miss Barek as a limb. Also, I wanna know where she went. BAD. OH, TO THE BONE. OMG, love this episode. (Eee, there is hitting on soon. YAY, BARS.)

Hanyway. I am also rather surprised. Admittedly, I don't really run in CI circles much anymore. Did for a bit but ran away due to the fact that I am AS A FERRET in attention spans with fandoms. I'm jaded man.

AND OBVIOUSLY THE UNIVERSE HAS A PLAN FOR US.
