The Holiday...Hatred?

Dec 22, 2009 18:20

Even though I don't celebrate Christmas, many of my friends do, so of course there's a sense of happiness for me at giving gifts to friends and hanging out, eating...and...lots of eating. =3 So it's fun. I don't have the same beliefs, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy seeing lights out, giving gifts and all that good stuff. But really, there's so many people that become so unhappy and rude that it's really sad. You look at the movies and see how Christmas is so family oriented, so happy, and clearly its important considering how nearly everything shuts down that day because so many people celebrate it here. Reality is that many have become so stressed about the holiday that they don't enjoy it. They get really snippy if things don't go there way.
I'll admit that I get frustrated when things don't go exactly the way I want things to. Machines break, there's miscommunications...mistakes happen. We're human. and we've got a lot of costumers. We really do try to get stuff done as fast as possible, and there really are people who see that, and they notice that we really are trying our best to get stuff done as quickly as possible.
I guess its just impossible to please everyone. But oh well.

In other news, I have tussionex for my blasted cough. Stupid thing feels like its gotten worse, but that might be because I've been talking all day (kinda hard in my line of work). If I wake up tomorrow with no voice, I'm not going to be surprised one bit.

And that is all!
