A quiet night at home...
Today was an interesting day.
It started I guess last night at the Thanksgiving bash. I drank some shots with Susan and reached my happy place. You know that point where you've had enough to drink where you're just giggly but the room isn't spinning? That was me. I enjoyed it. However, I usually drink water inbetween my alcohol and didn't do that, so I suffered all day today with a nice big headache. On top of that, it was my second day as an Entertainment Host. Now I've been an Entertainment Host since July, and I'm just now getting to actually do it.
So I started my day in Town Square hosting Mickey. With my luck, within two sets I already had a guest yell at me and file a complaint against me because they didn't get to meet Mickey Mouse before he went inside. Well sorry! He told me that the group we announced as "Mickey's last group" didn't even wait in line, but I really don't see how that could be possible, because they were a really big group and I was standing at the front of the line. And if he had noticed that they had cut in front of them, he should have said something sooner, like when they went up there or when we announced them as the last group, and not wait until we brought Mickey in to start yelling at me. Guests...oy vay. So after that I get pulled to Critter Country because they're missing a host over there. So I go and get the Critter Country costume, but don't know what jacket to get so I wind up with no jacket. So I hosted over there for the rest of my day in the freezing cold. Yay! But I had fun. It was a day not in Atta, right? Right.
So anyway, I still had the monstrous headache at the end of the day, so I decided to take it easy and not go to class. Played a video game for a bit, watched Angel, and just relaxed, unwound. It was good. It was very good. I wish I could get a chance to do that more often. But oh well. I think I'm going to settle down for some light reading and then bed.
