Of course, if she knew bitch-faces were involved, she might change her tune.
She looked in the mirror for a moment, and then a few more moments of checking various important angles; she deemed it, as a whole, to be relatively unsatisfactory, but she knew they were working on a time limit here and didn't want to be late, so she figured it would just have to do.
"Okaaaaaaay!" she called, with one last touch of lipstick before bouncing out. "I'm ready!"

And breaking into a grin. As she might find herself unsatisfactory but Dale found her to be perfect. "You look wonderful," he said quietly and holding up her coat to help her put it on.

"What have you got planned for us to do there?" she asked, almost bouncing.

"Well there's a new little restaurant near Rockefeller Center that's been getting good reviews," Dale replied as the arrived at the portal opening. "It sounds like a nice little place that's destined to disappear in two weeks and never hear from again and then I thought we'd take in a show on Broadway. Shall we?"
