Dale came in today to get a little paperwork out of the way. The phone calls caused by the strike had put him a little more behind than he preferred and decided to use the quiet time to get caught up.
It was then that the phone rang and unlike other craziness going around the phone call was for him.
"Hello? No I'm sorry, Sheriff Mustang no longer works here. I'm the current Sheriff, Dale Cooper. How can I help you? A law enforcement convention? Well it's a bit short notice though I'm sure it can be arranged we have a lovely hotel and- Certainly. I'll go ahead and make the arrangements. Thank you and have a pleasant day!"
Right afterward, he left a message with Daisy and Ray with some thoughts on a presentation they could do together.
Yes indeed. It was turning out to be quite a productive day!
