I'm new to LiveJournal, and on having a quick look around, I already have a sense of the love/hate relationship that will no doubt ensue.
I keep a journal already, a proper pen-and-paper one, and I've learned that they can be dangerous. Very dangerous. Don't get me wrong, I love writing in it. It feels so good to put things down in black and white when you think your head will explode, and it's great for looking back and re-evaluating situations. But sometimes I just see it as a collection of moments when I'm at my worst. Usually I only write in it when I'm feeling particularly down, or when something bad has happened. It's not always the case, and I do have some entries from when I've been on a complete high, but those entries are the minority. It's so easy for a journal to be negative.
In light of this, I've decided to post here only when I've got something positive to say. I can see this lasting about a week, but it doesn't hurt to try.
And what better way to begin than by recounting the events of yesterday, the 27th January, possibly the best day anyone has ever had, ever. Yesterday the Hardcore Four embarked on a trip to Cardiff to see the one, the only, JOHN BARROWMAN! He played Jack in Jack and The Beanstalk at the New Theatre, and it was awesome to the extreme! We also took the Torchwood tour, going to the rift and, of course, those railings.
I don't want to share too much about the actual day, simply because it was my day, not yours (sorry), and also because I couldn't do it justice. But I will say that it was absolutely amazing. Not only did we meet JB (he squeezed us!), but I had so much fun with my Fax girlies. I don't think I've ever laughed so much in one day! Just to give you an idea of the immense immenseness: Mountains, hangman, 'he's behind you!', Cardiff porn, shoe porn, crotch porn, glasses porn, chin porn, towels. That's a lot of porn!
Isn't is strange that you can't help writing as though to an audience on these things?
