Not everything has come out, and I definitely am not watching everything, but the first episode 2 recently was released.
Little Busters! is the latest Key show. Unfortunately, they decided to have J.C. Staff animate this instead of Kyoto Animation due to scheduling conflicts. J.C. Staff isn't bad at this kind of show, but Kyoto has this ... style which I've enjoyed. The first episode was fairly generic, but I kept being distracted by certain elements. For example, Kyousuke looks and sounds too much like Angel Beats' Yuzuru that I kept expecting the SSS to pop out. Most of the jokes fell flat to me.
Zetsuen no Tempest has perhaps the worst subtitle of the shows I've seen. It's not a bad action show, but two of the girls look too much alike (plot point?), and male leads have quite a bit of bromance going on. Also, both guys are rather annoying. So far, they've set up a potentially interesting story. They key is if they can pull all the elements together in a consistent fashion, or if they're going to go with chaos to cover up holes. Is it just me, or do the character designs not look reminiscent of Gravitation?
Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! is the Kyoto Animation show for this season. This show has great potential to be painfully hilarious if I can keep my self-consciousness suppressed. Still, it definitely falls within the moe class of show. The jokes have been fairly good so far, but the character interactions have been a bit stilted. As usual, the animation is very well done.
Shin Sekai Yori is a very pretty show. In many ways it reminds of Another, with its vaguely disturbing atmosphere and blunt soundtrack. So far, the development has been very deliberate, and if it continues as it is, it might become a great show. It is presently the show I most look forward to this season.
K - amazing animation, but they forgot to include character depth or plot. Part of that comes from having a huge cast of characters and starting in media res, but the one character who could have been developed simply ended up the blandest character of all. The other characters mostly just found a variety of poses to stand in. An annoying first episode.
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is very shoujo. In some ways, it's the the anti-Kara Kano in that the price of the characters academic success has been their complete social life. It uses the standard shoujo tropes but has a nice twist on things. Also, the female lead is a fairly unreliable narrator, which I like a lot, since the dichotomy between her speech and actions do a good job at developing her character.
There are two shows which have yet to air which I am interested in checking out: Robotics;Notes and Psycho-pass. The rest of this season's products don't have any particular interest for me. If one gets particularly good reviews I might watch it.
Also, the lastest Code Geass movie came out. It made about as much sense as the rest of the series. Or as little. However, a note for the writers: most people honestly don't care about anyone they don't interact with. No group of people considers another group as animals deserving to die without a history of conflict or hostility to drive those emotions.
