hmmm, realized I haven't written in quite a while, and I didn't really leave it on a happy note.
Well the past few weeks have been a little on the crazy side. The end of the semester was totally killing me and the culmination of crap finally ended today. Finished my french paper, took my way too easy french test which I thought would massacre me and my last anthro test with muskrat shooting otterbein. Then came the horror of Circle K, my printer wouldn't go fast enough, I had to buy drinks and I felt like the worst e-board member ever. But with luck, the service project turned out pretty ok...whew!
Otherwise in past events, me and molls went job hunting over easter weekend. We went to the poster art mecca and the owner was actually looking for people! We stayed there for about an hour helping him with his computer querries and he even offered to pay for it, but we declined...even though it would have been nice. So I'm very much hoping that I can get a full-time job there this summer or at least someplace more downtown.
Then there was THE CONFERENCE!!!!!!!!!! It was totally amazing. The people there were so cool and I made so many friends. At the same time, I knew the experience would be a lot different than in high school, but I was kinda happy that it was going to be different. It was hard, but I realized that I can never really go back to how it was so I have to embrace the new things. The ultimate high point of the whole con was a) silent football- I finally got to play and was deemed Mr. Jigga-whaaaa!? and b) African dancing- The most awesome experience of my whole life. Xan had taken african dancing so she taught me, molls and kate the steps and we had a little dance troupe going on. I really want to take an african dance class this summer, that would be the most fun thing I could ever do in my life. So I'm definitly going to get into that.
At this point, I'm just really happy because the year is wrapping up, most of my work is done and I have a really cool new prospective job lined up. w00t!!!!!!!!
