(no subject)
We finally decided what to put in our empty tank - a tokay gecko. Man oh man is he a foul-tempered little guy, but chubby and healthy and vibrant. They boy at the pet store was too afraid to reach in and grab him, so he got the boss to do it. Not sure if we're going to be handling this little guy yet, we'll give him a few days to get used to his new home first. We don't know what we're going to name him yet, so what are some good gecko-y names?
On a side note, someone on the interwebs said you could use ice cubes as a water-drip system, since they'd just sit on top of the wire mesh and melt through. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds feasible. Are there any obvious hazards that I'm not thinking of, or do you think the internet is telling the truth?
