return from whence you came once a year every year to play the same name game. call the dame who laid claim to your grey plain remade the pain in your faint slain drained brain. i bet you've been alone forlorn for a while. the world makes it seem like you were born through a turnstile. throw out all your numbers hang your voices from a wire sell your soul and paint your faces for the Grace Empire

told her dad i loved her and i'd make the move if somewhere there was room for a groom who crooned a blue doom tune. we spoke too soon the moonlight drew a broken spoon from this fickle dish with his listless limp fist. i caroused around our broken hometown with my brother. our car on fire blazed a brazen spotlight to another girl i was in love with so my heart called me a liar but she set my groin on fire she was from the Grace Empire

when was the only time you chewed me under the mistletoe told me to let it go

when did you ever find the time to take a petition denouncing the quid pro quo

who could you always wait for disrupting the feverish plays that we acted so true in

why did you take the bait when i told you i'm leaving and i have no way to keep you inside

8 hours later you're feeling how the claw marks on your back are stinging sharply in the shower. she bowed down under your reluctant power but she rigged a sucker's barter when she announced her sour dowery. "I'm the rightful owner of your flattery.  hit me with a heavy hand and blindly roll over me. i'll be mostly masochistic no permission you're the buyer. slap me so that i'll remember you down in the Grace Empire

no fool's admittance to the place that says good riddance to the rats all in attendance at the patriotic lynch.  men of action take a back seat to the elite who repeat their broken speak and rob the broken ill retreat.  the one's who're getting fucked are the ones who say good luck to the old musty mug on which they place their prayer of trust.  love and lust are squandered thus when you can't regain the power that they dangle and regale with over in the Grace Empire.

i saw her in line with the bureaucrats i felt my heartache get raped with a hard red tape

i voted yes on our love but she changed legislature and threw me the back of a mistake

sorry to save the day and have you turn forward the clock till the object gets blocked out

we could have paved the way for a new way of living but all i can see now is doubt
