[Targeted to Funbari Onsen residents, THOROUGHLY locked from hostiles]

Jun 13, 2010 22:25

[The post is locked from hostiles so thoroughly that, outside of Funbari Onsen residents and some DATS people, not a lot of people will see this post.]

... Everyone.

I've been asked by Hoshi - and based on the situation, myself agree - to start evacuation of Funbari Onsen.

Tetha is no longer safe for any of us, and that's all there is to it. Unless or ( Read more... )

Have fun with that, see ya when you get back whoever you are.

Hey now don't be rude, she's that hot lady who has a crush on Hoshi.

You don't even know her name!

I'm pretty well known for running...usually away from trouble but for a long time now I've been sick of it. So now when trouble comes a calling I go in full tilt.

Yep, with great power comes great responsibility and all!

W-while I appreciate the thought I-I to will have to decline...I-I'm sorry.

T-there are too many people from my world t-that are staying in Tetha. I-I could never leave them here with those, w-with those beasts!

... I understand that sentiment, Tiffany, but...

At the least, try and stay at MAGI if you can, for your safety here.

T-thank you b-but I can't. E-even by lightpost M.A.G.I is too far away...w-when something goes wrong t-they'll need me here.

M-may I ask where you're going?

... Tiffany, please... The people here shouldn't need you. Staying encourages them to stay, which makes things more dangerous for everyone.

I have to help Hoshi recover as much as I can... But if no one leaves, I...

As much as I respect Hoshi's opinion...somehow I just find it hard to imagine there's anything we can't handle.

I moved here from the Inn for my daughters safety, the strongest people I know live here and at the Inns.

... But are even the strongest people here enough? And should we be taking the risk of them being strong enough, no matter how confident we might be in that strength?

The place may be relatively safe compared to the rest of Tetha... But it'd be irresponsible to stay in this city at the height of its aggression.

Pidonus you have to look at it the way I see it, this city, the Inns...it means alot to me.

They gave me a second chance when I decided to stop being a criminal, it gave birth to my teashop, it's where my daughter, her cousin and their friends love to play.

If I leave now and something goes wrong, if Tetha is taken from us it would break my heart. The least I can do is dig my heels in and support the spirit of the city.

... I can understand, but... Shouldn't the people be what's most important? Shouldn't they, the ones you can't recover if they're lost, be the first priority?

[Oh hey look it's Ryu stepping out into the yard with his boken, Bokomon and his spirit partner. He spies Pidonus working away and after a moment speaks up]

You know...you could easily store all of that in your D-reader and save yourself the trouble of pulling a cart.

*Pidonus pauses.*

Don't the results end up decompiling over time, though, if they're stored in the Reader?

pompadourpower June 14 2010, 21:52:09 UTC
I have never heard that, in fact my experience has been that food stays perfectly preserved and fresh in the D-reader.

[Bokomon has trotted away and is stacking up rocks]

Yes, but what about after you recreate it? For things like books, the decompiling is a major issue there, isn't it?

Glad someone is taking my subtle hint, even if my hint was more like "oh bugger, cops".

I only wish the others would see the sense to leave... It isn't worth fighting here.

It's worth fighting for, it's there home. The problem is they don't realize they don't have the power to fight all of what they're up against.
Though honestly, if it wasn't for worrying about people's safety and me taunting the turtle, I probably would be acting the same way.

I still can't believe you had to bother him, you freaking dumb ass.

To fight for a home is noble... To fight against an enemy you stand low odds against, however...
