Yes, how will we be dealing with the accumulating ash elementals that are likely to gather?

I'm afraid we don't have any forest fairies to distract them with, as would be the fashion.

I wouldn't think ash elementals would be a problem in liquid magma environments... And why would forest fairies be the solution to them, anyhow?

With the increased pollution in the air if we build anywhere near the city we're likely to summon forth or attract Hexingous Currite or "Ash Elementals" which interestingly enough are attracted to the pain and suffering of Fairies and singing.

... Uh... I'm not sure that's applicable here. Volcano lairs don't spout a lot of ash or the like, typically...

Maybe not where you come from...but Volcanic ash is very common around volcanoes in my world.

Well yes. But Volcano lairs are different. If the air were unbreathable due to ash, it'd be a rather poor lair, wouldn't it?

I had assumed I would be preparing some spells to make the air breathable.

Is there a particular method of construction that enables the lair to maintain a clean air and workable conditions?

... I don't really think so. It's just kind of one of those villain things. You build the lair, the ash ceases to be an issue.

Or at least, that's the best I could figure out about it...
