Application
I just got back from youth camp. John Patrick , the speaker at camp , taught on how to study the Bible for yourself. He showed us ways on how to dig deeper and enjoy learning about the Bible. I don't really have a time set aside to study God's Word or to talk with God. For awhile now God has been telling me that He wants me to set time aside in the morning (before I do anything else) to meet with Him. I've been fighting it because I love my sleep. I hate getting up early in the morning. At camp though I realized that I need to quit making excuses and do it. Last night I asked God to wake me up so that I could have my quiet time in the morning... and He did. Which at first I wasn't to thrilled with but I know now that it was worth it. It was awesome! I kept on doing the booklet that they gave us at camp which is on 1 Peter. I think I will finish studying this book.
