also, in a fit of boredom and apathy, i watched, in almost complete entirety, an episode of CSI: Miami. what utter tripe. i cannot believe this is a show that has several spin-offs and tons of stupid people saying they want to be crime scene investigators (my half-sister included.)
in this fascinating episode, david caruso's character conducts interviews with suspects, examines samples under a microscope in a room that looks like it belongs more on the starship enterprise or an experimental college film classroom than a crime lab, and busts down a door with gun in hand to catch a criminal. who knew crime scene investigators had such variety in their jobs???
oh yeah, and caruso found a microscopic sliver on the cheek of a corpse, which he identified as leather with his bare eyes.
not to mention the various cleverly angled product placements, including hyundai, motorola, etc.
it was like 90210 with more dead teens. it is unfathomable how many people have suggested i watch this show when i admitted i had been thinking about mortuary school. i hate television.
