costa rica
so i'm back, and all i can say was that i had an incredibely fabulous, life-changing experience.
two weeks in the tiny town of playa dominical made me realize what life can really be--laid back, carefree, and happy.
i swear i will live there someday.
anyway, for everyone who wants to know, no, i'm not a pro-surfer, but i can stand up on the board every time i catch a wave.
i'm also not fluent in spanish, but i think i've gotten much better.
i miss julia carolina and teresa with all my heart, and junior/ronnie, too.
also, rachel was the best roommate i ever could have asked for. who knew that living in a resort could be so enjoyable :)
current states: one frog, one large toad, three enormous grasshoppers, one bird in the roof, one large black hairy spider, seven millipedes, two snakes, and some ants.
god i had fun.
anyway, if i ever feel like posting pictures somewhere, i'll let people know. otherwise,

in other news, i think i'm impressed with this:
wow, there are so many places i need to go. no africa?? no asia??? mark my words, i'll get there.
and this, maybe? 41% of the U.S.? that needs to change.
