MISFITS SET AND OTHER ENGLAND TINGS
Okay so i should explain what I've been doing.
Still in England until tomorrow, having a great time. And i managed to be an extra on Misfits last Friday and then go help out on set on Monday morning. It. Was. Awesome. Robert was lovely to me and shook my hand and chatted to me and how he was in Australia and did a backpacking tour when he was 19. Nathan was lovely too and i watched him and Iwan play ping pong against each other and suggested Robert film it, which he did. It was all very cool and laid back. The whole crew is so young too! I'm going to be in 2x04 in a bar scene with a new character. I also know spoilers for episode 5 (i think).
The reason behind me being on set and everything was harlequingerhl/Emily's dad works on the show. He offered to get me on and he got them to sign a dvd i had bought a few weeks ago. Pretty much, Adam Browne is the coolest dad/producer in the world.
on set and on location on friday and monday.
Spoke to Lauren and made a total dick of myself by doing this:
"Hi, I'm Laura"
"Lauren."
"No, Laura.
"No my name is Lauren"
"oh, right!"
~awkward~
But she was lovely anyway. and SO DAMN ATTRACTIVE IN REAL LIFE. Didnt talk to ~Alisha~ she seems nice but in a stuck up kind of way and seemed too busy to talk to anyone. Iwan was adorable. They were doing a running scene and i told him "excellent running" and he was like "oh thank you!" and jogged off ♥. When i first got there though Robert and Iwan were out the front of their trailer playing guitars and i had an inner flailing moment as i got out of the car. They said hi, i said hi and told them they should work on a duet. Which they laughed at and then i went to go to hair and make up.
I looked like this after hair and make up.
WOAH, LIPSTICK.
Other than that I've been to Bath, which is gorgeous and the Roman Baths are amazing; Brighton, which is so gay i cant even; Lincoln and Winchester which are lovely and have such old looking things and just gorgeous architecture and Portsmouth to stay with Becky's dad and his family.
Not quite Naomi and Emily bike ride but we have the hair colours right.
There's more but those are the exciting places. I love Hackney. It's amazing. I would do a spam of it too but i honestly cannot be bothered opening photoshop again.
I'll miss it here when i go on Friday. I really do love it here. But i'm looking forward to seeing Emma when i get home and my friends and all the people I love who arent here.
Oh but what i'll miss a LOT will be the record shop which I've been to so many times since i've been here it's called Banquet Records and it's so freaking awesome. I have bought so many things on vinyl it's not funny.

Oh and one more thing that i did whilst i've been here was go to a festival. I snuck into Underage festival despite being overage and saw Ellie Goulding, Crystal Castles, Hadouken and Darwin Deez (who was incredibly entertaining!). It was BRILLIANT aside from the 14 year old indiekids who think they're all that and the amount of dust that i inhaled when i was jumping around to Hadouken. So Yeah. I've been doing a lot the past month.
What's happening in livejournal land i havent been checking my flist much since i've been out and about doing things.
