YOU GUYS SO MUCH IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW ITS CRAZY. I'm actually amazed at how lucky i am in life right now.
1. Sydney Soundwave was insane. I went up on saturday afternoon, met quietlyobsessed and her mate Josh at Central station and we went to Newtown and walked about a bit, and Courtney looked for Diva and Company Magazine, we found the Jan issue and the March issue. The Feb issue which was the issue she wanted wasnt there. Stupid people. Anyway we then met up with her awesome gay lady friends who included sapphire_magick and got Japanese for dinner. It was so good to see them all again. Afterwards we went to a pub in Glebe and instead decided to chill out on the sofas instead of paying $10 to go into the lesbian acoustic night thing they were having on.

Once we were done there we caught the train back to where Courtney lives and didnt sleep till about 2am.
2. Sunday was soundwave. It started off well, i met Courtney's mum and we ate breakfast and made food for the day and headed off only to be stuck in traffic for an hour and a half. After a lot of illegal turns and watching loads of people illegally park, we found a park about 20 minutes from the venue. So we had the fun job of walking up the highway with massive trucks going past us. It was so hot though i was starting to get a migrain so this was when the shit part of the day started. We got in and i went with Courts to see Emorosa and once she was there i went and waited for Motion City Soundtrack, only trouble was i was starting to get heatstroke and wasnt feeling well at all. Then one of the set of taps for free water were broken and the other free water set of taps were over the otherside of the venue. There was also virtually no shade and people were fainting all over the place. So i bought some $4 water and sat and drank it behind an ice cream truck since it had a tiny bit of shade. I was so ill i havent ever felt that terrible in my life at a festival. Melbourne seems a lot more organised with soundwave then sydney does, but Sydney's was out in the middle of nowhere so... ANYWAY. i was not at all well and missed Motion City Soundtrack. I heard some of their songs but mostly i was trying not to throw up from the heat and dehydration. I eventually made it down to the other water taps and filled up my bottle and started to feel better and went to watch Alexisonfire's set. It was very good! I was feeling so much better when Paramore came on stage. Hayley was wearing lepard print jeans and on anyone else they would have looked hilariously terrible but on her they looked ADORABLE. I wasnt that fussed being up the front for Paramore since i was going to see them again on Tuesday night in melbourne at their sideshow so i just stood and danced like a 14 year old girl lol. After Paramore i went and watched Placebo play and guh they were awesome. I've never seen them live before but they're really good. I left their set early though to try find Amy and Whitney at the signing tent where they were meeting Anti-Flag. But they werent there since apparently Anti-Flag were there half an hour early so i walked to Stage three where they were set to play in half an hour's time after All Time Low (who were so shit omg and also the lead singer is a pervert and a wanker.) Anyway after ATL finished i pushed my way to the barrier and one girl wouldnt move since she was waiting for Escape the Fate who were after Anti-Flag she let me put my arm on the barrier though so that was decent of her. Then Justin came on stage and who followed him but amy_shoe and WHITNEY. I yelled "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" at them and everyone heard me lolz. Justin had asked if they wanted to hang backstage and watch the show backstage. I was so jealous and sad and shit but i had to push it aside so i could actually enjoy their set. Which i did. They played so many amazing songs and they played Die For The Government which i'd never seen live. It was excellent. Afterwards i got pulled out the front and kicked the girl in front of me in the face by accident...i laughed a bit. I then met Courtney on the side and waited for Whitney and Amy who were still chillin' backstage with Justin and the rest of the band. After more pushing away the jealously and tears we watched Jimmy Eat World which was lovely since i havent seen them since i was 15 and i loved them and Whit and i just sang along to them. We decided to go home after that since we were all fucked and sunburnt and tired. Courtney drove us to the hotel and we got maccas on the way. Once in the hotel i showered and my legs had so much dust on them it was ridiculous. They were a different color and the only clean part of me was my sock covered feet, then called Emma to update her on the day's events and talk of food she had eaten that day (our relationship is an odd one). The room was nice but there was this really long corridor to the other single bed and it was so far away we all joked it was Eastern Creek (the venue of Soundwave) since it was so isolated from the rest of the room like soundwave was from the rest of Sydney.

Next day Whitney and Amy left really early so i had the room to myself until checkout at 11. I checked out at 10 and waited for Ivy/sapphire_magick to come hang out with me. We went to the MOMA and saw all this conceptual art which was neat. Then went to Town Hall to meet anna_bananna666, we went to Newtown again and got reaaaaally good Thai food for lunch. Anna had to go to work afterwards but Ivy and I hung out for a couple more hours, walking around and just trying to find aircon. We had an awesome D&M in the middle of the underwear section of Myer simply because it was air-conditioned. I then caught the train to the airport and got home and met Emma on the train home :)
3. Paramore was on Tuesday night. It was EXCELLENT. Hayley ♥♥♥♥. She's such a sweetheart. She and Jeremy tried Vegemite on stage since someone threw a packet on stage. It was hilarious! her words were "That is the worst thing i've ever tasted ever. You dont even know." LOL. She did take a whole lot of it though, Jeremy only took a tiny bit and thought it tasted okay. They played Let The Flames Begin and Where The Lines Overlap and Pressure and NEVER LET THIS GO :D I was so happy. They finished with Brick By boring Brick and they played The Only Exception. I was disapointed they only played an hour set though. Good thing though was there was only one support band and it was You Me At Six.
4. Anti-Flag. Okay so this was pretty fucking amazing. I saw them first in Sydney at soundwave and then last night in Melbourne at their show with Alexisonfire. As we stood in the line Justin came up to whitney and Amy and said hi and chatted a bit with us, asking if we knew any good places to go after the show which in itself was AWESOME he wanted to hang out. So after talking for a bit he went away and we went inside and waited half an hour for their set. They were the first support band for Alexisonfire which sucked because they only had a half an hour set :( It was still brilliant though they played Death of A Nation which i've never heard live and it was amazing. Pat got into the audience again and played drums and #2 got in as well and i suddenly felt like i was in a Punk gig where everything has no barriers and its just you and the band all close and just-- IT WAS AWESOME. After Anti-Flag finished their set Whit, Amy and I got out of the mosh and there was massive drama with Whitney's boyfriend being over protective of her and convinced she was going to cheat on him or something ridiculous. I mean i get it, he's had shit girlfriends in the past but whitney isnt like that. Anyway, after about two hours of massive drama Whitney texted Justin about it and HE CARED ENOUGH TO TEXT BACK ABOUT ♥ he's so lovely. We went outside and he told us to meet him at "the station" near spleen only that the station near spleen was Parliment and he was apparently at Flinders, so we skipped down Bourke st and ran down Swanson st and made it to Flinders st station to see Justin wondering around aimlessly looking very lost and it was pretty funny. We then met up with Bec on the way and as we walked Justin gave us love advice and told us about his exes lolol. We then met up with a couple of Justin's other friends and went to Spleen where Justin told us about his pets for half an hour. More specifically his cats oh and he put on an irish accent since his folks are irish. Hee. Does anyone remember Castro? When i posted about him ages ago? And he was just a kitten, Justin told us that he got run over :( :( :( it was so sad. Whitney and I were rather shocked. Anyway after an hour of talking about random shit we had to leave since Jake was only allowing whitney so long to hang out with him. So he walked us out of the bar and gave us all hugs and hoped we got home safe and that's how i met Justin Sane. It was just a shame we couldn't have stayed out longer. Ah well.
5. My Kina Grannis CD arrived today so thats all i've been listening to lately. HER VOICE IS SO PRETTY! It's signed too :D
