Sydney Trip
Friday: We got on the plane after 10:45am after it being delayed for half an hour i've talked about a little already. We got on the plane and luckily, thanks for Fernie's uncle we were all seated together. Because we were so delayed the Pilot got us there in super quick timing. We got to syndey in an hour opposed to 1.5 hours. We were going over 900 K/pH according to the tv screen in front of me. Also, on that note, i didnt realise just how long it has been since i'd been on an aeroplane. WE USED TO HAVE TO MAKE OUR OWN FUN but now we get TVs on the back of each seat! Talk about luxury! Wow.

PLANE BUDDIES

We arrived at Sydney airport and went down the the baggage claim only to have Amy gasp incredibly loudly and point towards this guy.

It was miserable weather windy and rainy when we arrived and just horrible to walk around in. We got to the Vibe hotel by 1pm and looked around the hotel a little.
The beds were fancy and all modern and nice. Ignore Fernie.

The view from our room was a bit dissapointing, mostly because SOMEONE HAD A CHAIR PARTY WITHOUT US :P

Then we found the gym upstairs. Much fun was had.

We then left to find sapphire_magick. It was bucketting down and the wind was terentual. However once we got over "OMG MY HAIR!!11!!ONE!" moments we were fine. We eventually met up with Ivy who we had difficulty finding seeing as Sydney doesnt have lots of streets they just have LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG streets so instead of saying you're on the corner of [Brad] Pitt St you could be meaning ALL THE WAY DOWN THE OTHER END OF IT. We found her after the creepy man insisted on asking us what kind of food we're looking to eat when we were trying to find Ivy/China Town lol. We hid behind a pole until he went away. Got korean food for lunch and spent the rest of the day trying to avoid the rain and wind and going through Paddy's market and a few other shops and as i said yesterday we ended up looking like this:

That night we watched shitty TV until 3am. We watched this late night movie called Carrie And spent most of the film trying to figure out who the hell Sue was. Turns out it was Dee from Battlestar Galactica but she had lots of hair so it was hard to figure out who she was. Also Emilie De Ravin was in it too. She played such a bitch. I recommend people see it. It's really creepy but incredibly well done. I want to watch the 1970s one now!
Saturday:
Woke up at 10 to go get Pancakes on the Rocks at Darling Harbour and oh my god were they good. The weather was so much nicer although it was really humid and about 35˚C/95˚F.
Amy got Chicken and Mushroom crepes
Fernie got Apple pancakes
I got this chocolate pancakes with chocolate sauce. Oh my god did i regret it. Wow i felt sickly full afterwards.
Whitney and Ivy got Bananarama or something like that :P it looked goooooood.

After stuffing our faces we walked. A lot. Did a little shopping then caught a (weird, silver, double decker) train to Circular Quay.

We then went and got Ferry tickets in order to head over to Manly and to the beach. This was when we went touristy :P

and ended up here in paradise.
Whitney and Fernie were the only ones who went swimming though.
Ivy has a TINY foot and i have a massive foot.
The ferry home was WINDYYYY and helped me get the best picture of Fernie EVER. TAKEN.

That night we were exhausted and just sat and watch The Santa Clause on TV and Whitney and Fernie went down to the bar downstairs and came back up with drinks.
Whitney got drunk/very tipsy and we spent the night laughing at her after calling Bec and reading 52 exciting new ways to have sex in 2009. Good night all up.
Sunday:
Had to be packed up and out of our room by 11am so we waited in the lobby for Ivy to come. Today was a really nice day too:
The view was nicer as well.
We were going shopping in George and Pitt St. We went to Queen Victoria Building (QVB) and looked through shops and They had a gigantic Christmas Tree in the middle of the shopipng centre!

By the end of the day we were so tired no one was really making conversation lol. We went back to the hotel to pick up our bags and get a shuttle to the Airport.
There was a Buddha in the lobby for some reason so Whitney expressed her joy.

We got on the plane and we werent seated together which sucked but luckily there were spare seats so Fernie moved behind us and sat next to Amy. I sat next to Whitney who had a lolly.

As the sun set it looked like fluffy snow. I wanted to run in it.

Then i came home and dled The Office, which i'm now off to watch so i can distract myself from Results some more.
