So this has been a pretty eventful weekend...
Friday, Shaina and I were going through shopping with drawls so we hit up the mall. Ok, so what is it with the fashions this year? All the clothes for the spring/summer are UGLY! They are bringing back the 70s and awful print with like avocado green. Yuck. I'm very disappointed.
Then later that night Shaina, Sarah, and Jade invited me to go to Domo with them. Now Domo is a sushi restaurant and if you know me, you know I don't do sushi. But I found something normal on the menu (fried rice w/chicken) and I even mastered eating with chopsticks! Then we came back to the apartment to watch ANTM and Anastasia because I bought the family fun edition DVD! I'm so cool :-) It was a fun evening.
Saturday was spring cleaning day! Shaina and I learned that the best music to clean to is Radio Disney. Ha ha I was mopping the floor in the bathroom to the cha cha slide. Oh and we have it on video too, it's hilarious. So now our apartment is all nice and clean, and it only took us like 3 hours I think? :-) Then later that night the lost roommate came home ;-) and we had a John Cusack movie night.
Today was study day. Shaina and I learned that you can't find parking at the library the Sunday before Midterms. The parking lot at the library was like parking at the mall at Christmas! Yikes!
There are only four days between me and spring break. Four very busy days. Tomorrow is work then a short three hour break before discipleship time with Rene, dinner for Melissa's birthday, and then my Legals test. AND after that I get to drive home so that I can be in Avon for my student teaching interview Tuesday morning. That's not the end of my crazy week. Oh no. There's Bible study, more work, class, homework, a certain roommates birthday dinner ;-), microteaching, and probably something else I'm forgetting. But then it's spring break!
So Shaina and I are going to try and make it the rest of the week without having to go to the grocery store before break. This could get interesting...we might be eating a lot of Mac and Cheese and frozen veggies....yum
