Tonight, Ira was going to surprise Addie at work. He had missed her. Ira had been so busy with work, and he felt like he hadn't seen Addie in days. Tonight, he'd make time, even if it meant sitting at the bar with her until it closed. Then he could take her out for pancakes after. He missed her

Ira trusted her, but he was her boyfriend. It was right to disapprove of any other man checking out his woman and trying to slide her their number. Maybe it was flattering, but Ira had too much testosterone and pride.

He spots her and smiled. He makes his way to her, not quite bumping into others. "Hey there. I'm looking for my girlfriend. She's tall, has brunette hair, eyes that sparkle when she smiles. She works here."

It came with the job. In college he worked in a gay bar, sometimes people flirted, sometimes they didn't. He certainly knew she could handle herself.

Ira leaned in as she spoke, his hazel eyes warm. He set the flowers on the counter for her. "Well then I guess you're my girlfriend!" He seals it with a kiss, leaned further so she doesn't have to. He pulled back and sat on a stool. "How's it going, Addie dear?"

Ira smiled and eat a few bar nuts. "You're very welcome. I couldn't not get them for you," he notes her notebook and wonders if she's written anything. It always pleased him to know she wrote music.

"I did have work tonight, but I finished early." it was true. He only had to photograph nude male models. Not the most challenging photo shoot, but he did well.

"You should ask! But only if you're sure, I don't want you getting in trouble," he leaned in and kissed her cheek quickly.

"You are the best," Ira smiled at her before she left to ask about. Ira sat back and people watched. He enjoyed people watching, and also. He enjoyed watching guys that were obvious tools get rejected.

"All mine?!" Ira flashed a playful grin then. "For the night your mine. Oh the things we could do!"

"No, I didn't have plans. Except a late night meal. I kind of thought I'd be with you at the bar until your shift ended," Ira chuckled. His plan was to take her to eat. "But! You're off early, we can catch a late showing of a movie, or even bowling!"

"You haven't seen a movie since May!? I cant imagine not going to the movies," Ira chuckled softly as they walked. "Lets do bowling. We'll have an all American date tonight. I'll try and bring you home tonight too." He pokes her playfully.

"Of course! What kind of all American date would this be without one?" He smiled sweetly before slipping his arm around her. He loved that she was his girl. She made his life so much better, she had no idea.
