day 1
we went to a nature conservatory... this is a bear yawning
this is when i realized i forgot to apply sunscreen

he walk all the way to the fence in front of me, smiled, turned, and walked away. it was awesome.

this was at the top of a mountain in Girdwood, AK. it was 75 degrees, no wind, and amazing clear views. we sat up there for at least an hour. INCREDIBLE!
day 2
road trip to Valdez
we had pie at a cafe on the way and there was this amazing view of a glacier

i totally mom yelled at him for sitting there. then he dropped my water bottle and almost tried to climb down to get it and i mom yelled again. then he forced me to take multiple pictures of him sitting there. it was traumatic.

day 4
road tripping back to Anchorage...
he had to pee which was convenient because the view was beautiful

day 5 is missing
we went to brunch, checked out the water airport, almost played disc golf, but it was so freaking hot we decided to grab a drink instead and have a toast to my pops RIP.
day 6 - my birthday!
i insisted we have donuts and we did. then we had indian food with friends of steve james and then went to the summer solstice celebration downtown, saw a journey cover band, got really drunk, walked home in 2am daylight, slept about 2 hours, caught a plane back to portland, went straight to the Timbers match against Seattle Shittle...

this is Penny, me, Alex (Penny's bf), and Don (friend from the lodge).
Timbers won 2-1, it was an amazing game, we grabbed food and drinks after and i was in bed by 8 that night. a perfect ending to a perfect week.
there are more phone picts and steve james still has to share his picts with me so maybe i'll post more later.
