First Tutorial: Taylor Swift

Yay! My first Tut. :)
Let me know what you think...

{x} Made in Photoshop CS4.
{x} Translatable: Involves curves, selective coloring and color balance
{x} Difficulty: Medium... Need to know your way around the program
{x} Steps: 6 or 7
{x} Comments are appreciated.

1. Select a base image and crop it to 100x100 pixels
-- You will probably want an image with more green in it.

2. Your image is really dark, so Duplicate your base once and set it to SCREEN 100%.

3. The image doesn't have a lot of color right now, so Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Color Balance
-- MIDTONES: +55, +17, +2

4. It is still a little lack luster with color and is still a little green, so Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels
-- RED: Output: 49 Input: 255

5. Now it looks kind of flat, so, Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves
-- First Point: RGB: Output: 84 Input: 101
-- Second Point: RGB: Output: 192 Input: 188

6. Much better. I wanted a different look, so Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color
-- REDS: +100, +45, -100, -1
-- YELLOWS: -100, -2, 0, +7
-- WHITES: -100, 0, 0, 0

Note: You may stop here.

7. Though it is pretty, I wanted a more darker, romantic look, so I duplicated the base layer once and dragged it to the top setting it to OVERLAY 100%.  Here you can decided what ever opacity is best for your image and your liking :)

FINAL:

Here you go my Loves, the PSD :)
