Gah, okay yeah I'm bored. That previous post was like, less than an hour ago, haha. So here are the South Africa pictures that I was talking about. They were not taken by me, but by my mom during their recent trip there in late November/early December. I haven't been taking many pictures lately; nothing really "inspiring" so I decided to pick my favorites from her bath and post this amazing set instead. Enjoy these photos :) There's some wildlife and scenic views under the lj-cut. WARNING: I made these pictures slightly larger than what I usually resize them to, so this is not dial-up friendly. 21 photos, because it's 21 days until my birthday ;D
Let's start off with the sky; gorgeous photo with no PS enhancement. My mom knows I love taking pictures of clouds, hence she took this one xD
Oooh a rhino! Apparently, during the tour the animals were REALLY close to the jeep. As in, a couple of metres away. Another pic without any enhancements :)
Mmm, some more rhinoceroses (sp?). There's a baby one at the back.
I love how the sun is reflecting on the lion. The lion sleeps tonight....:D
And here's a lioness looking kind of sleepy...
And now time for some elephants! Did you know that elephants purr like cats to communicate? (I read that on the TV Listings on TV, lol).
And here's another elephant. It looks quite happy, like it's smiling x)
I love this picture of the zebra around all the greens =)
Uhhh... this is a mother hyena and her babies.
I always thought penguins lived in cold places! I guess there are South African penguins though....LOTS of them.
A cute penguin looking at his shadow :)
Some interesting looking flower.
Some more strange/beautiful flowers.
Another exotic looking plant.
A beautiful sunset.
I think these may have been taken in Capetown, though I'm not sure. I forgot what my mom said xD Bottom line is, they're amazing.
I want to go to South Africa one day.
Another beautiful picture of the waves.
Pretty coloring :) I think it's an island.
Another scenic picture. The water looks so blue and clean.
A view of South Africa I'm assuming, from a plane or a mountain. I'm not too sure....
Hope you guys enjoyed those pictures :)
