BOONE: I saw her... saw her die.
LOCKE: How did you feel? When she died?
BOONE: I felt... I felt... I felt relieved. I felt relieved.
LOCKE: Yes. Time to let go.
#9. Sawyer tells Jack about Christian {Exodus pt 1}
SAWYER: See, kids are like dogs, you knock them around enough they'll think they did something to deserve it.
Anyway, there's a pay phone in this bar. And this guy, Christian, tells me he wishes he had the stones to pick up the phone, call his kid, tell him he's sorry, that he's a better doctor than he'll ever be...
he's proud, and he loves him. I had to take off, but...
Something tells me he never got around to making that call. Small world, huh?

A woman died this morning just going for a swim and he tried to save her, and now you're about to crucify him? We can't do this.
Every man for himself is not going to work.
It's time to start organizing. We need to figure out how we're going to survive here.
Last week most of us were strangers, but we're all here now.
And god knows how long we're going to be here.
But if we can't live together, we're going to die alone.
#4. Jack wakes up in the jungle {Pilot pt 1}
EXTREME CLOSEUP. Open wide. The man's skin wet, speckled
with soil and flecks of blood. His breathing CLOSELY MIKED --
erratic. This man's in shock. The SOUNDS of INSECTS and
ANIMALS other-worldly. A blink.
SLIGHTLY WIDER on the Man's face as he stares upward,
disoriented, stunned. 40-years-old. Fit. In normal
circumstances, one glance would make you feel confident in
him. Trusting. But here, now, he's the one in trauma.
His name is JACK.
#3. Vincent is a good listener {Exodus pt 1}
WALT: I think you should take Vincent.
SHANNON: Are you serious?
WALT: He'll take care of you.
SHANNON: What makes you think I need a dog to take care of me?
WALT: Vincent took care of me when my mom died...
And nobody would talk to me.
They pretended like nothing happened. So I had to talk to Vincent. He's a good listener.
You could talk to him about Boone if you want.
#2. John wakes up, he can walk {Walkabout}
ANGLE ON LOCKE staring dumbly at them, then, as before, he
retrieves his pristine shoe (understanding its clean because
HE'S NEVER WALKED ON IT) -- and puts it on.
Once he does, he looks up to the sky, almost serenely... As
if an understanding's been reached.
