notes :

okay, i know this aren't the obvious choices, and i know i forgot a lot of characters, but these are the people i generally see inside my head when it comes to the harry potter characters. some of them you might say wtf to, and some aren't perfect when it comes to the descriptions. what i was going for was the sort of person, the kind of personality you get from them.

like jude law and malfoy -- he's not pencil sharp and blonde as all get out, but he has that sort of arrogant rich boy grown up quality to him, maybe he's learned some lessons, maybe he's still an arrogant prick. and sienna miller, not the best pansy, no cute black bob like everyone does, but again, the feeling is there. plus, when you put the two of them together, it's that relationship dynamic that works for pansy and draco.

i like to think dennis creevey grew out of his awkward starstruck phase and became a mega hottie that no one expected. gregory goyle isn't so much "evil" as wayward, and once you get past that, you can accept him as a legitimately interesting character who can develop in a variety of ways. his dad was a death eater, giving him standing among the slytherins, but it also gives him something to rebel against.

neville is still slightly awkward, interested in plants, not quite harry potter star status. i didn't do all the teachers because so many of them were perfectly cast in the first place that i couldn't do justice beyond that.

anyway. i hope you like it. if you hate my choices, that's okay too lol. thanks for reading!
